Angie and I are definitely on the same wavelength. My entire wardrobe is currently packed up in boxes (see photo #3) except for 3 outfits (and one of them is a moving day/track pants and hoodie deal). And one of those three outfits? Just happens to be my favorite sweater dress, skinnies, and boots.
So, the dress. It’s hand knit, in a teal cashmere yarn with lurex thread (for the sparkle, and it also oddly adds strength to the cashmere which is a weak fiber normally). To some of Angie’s points, it’s a fluid, waist surrendering fit and is my ideal length (which is on the short side because I like to wear my sweater dresses with leggings or skinnies, and tall boots like I have here).
Anyway, hope you are all having a good week. As you’ve probably gathered, we are moving on Friday and things are a bit of a mess around here!
