WIW: My cat likes to see what I'm wearing.

Here are some more outfits typical of what I wear when I'm headed to work. I realize that image quality is lacking-- that is something I will experiment with. Two of these tops are new purchases for spring/summer-- the floral print and the striped one. Recently, I've tended to wear mostly solid colors except for scarves and I'm trying to mix it up.

I think your fashion formula works well for work attire. I like that you use different scarfs and accessories to mix things up. The addition of your printed blouses I think will give you some nice additional options for mixing things up a bit.

...and your cat is adorable. I have always had a thing for black cats. We always had one in our family growing up and up until I moved out West about a decade ago I always had a black cat. When I was running an antiques business back east years ago it was actually called Black Cat Company in honor of my family's felines.

leopardluxe--aren't black cats great?! Mine had been in the shelter for a year when I adopted her. People are still superstitious about adopting black cats and that is very sad. My cat is very extroverted and unless she is in the deepest of sleep, she pretty much follows me around wherever I go-- including my almost daily outfit photos.

Very nice use of color and layers in your "uniform" Jenny. You also have your proportions really well sorted out - well done! Are those polka dot hose in outfit #1? LOVE!

Love your uniform Jenny. The midi skirt length suits you and I like the scarf and the stripes and print top. I too love the dotty tights in #1. Your kitty is gorgeous! My Bilbo says meow

It looks like your adorable kitty likes YOU! Good for you, adopting a shelter pet. The stripes and prints look great on you; you can probably do some remixing with these pieces to create more outfits.

Everyone here is so complimentary! I so appreciate it! I'm also glad you are noticing the polka dot tights in the first outfit. They are a favorite of mine and not very noticeable in the photo.I love little bits of playfulness in my outfits. I like big bits of playfulness too, but since I'm not a kid, I don't like to be over the top playful all the time.

windchime-- I follow Project 333, so my wardrobe absolutely depends on being able to remix my clothing.

Clearly that's what we call the "Petting Station." Lol. My pup definitely believes I stand in some spots for the express purpose of petting her.

My faves are #1 and #4. I confess to feeling the bracelet and necklace are a bit extraneous with the floral top, but not enough to be "maximalist." However, grain of salt, I'm going spartan in my old age

Hi Jenny! I love your boots and the skirt as the basis for (most of) these outfits. You do have a great formula that works for your shape. I have to confess a sweet spot for #1 and that stripe on you -- I think the vivid pattern perks you up in a really nice way. Maybe a little striped jacket to wear with a lighter weight skirt for the spring, and also over that blue dress in the last picture?

I, too, like #1, but I'm going to be a little bit difficult and say that I don't really like #3 much. Maybe it's the photography, but I feel like the cut of the cardigan plus the bulkiness of the scarf hides your figure. I think those two pieces (together) might go well with skinny jeans. Or maybe a belt. something with some structure.
