WIW: My boss was out of the office

I took the opportunity to dress down a bit, but I'm still thinking it was acceptable for the office.

Old Navy cardigan

blue opaque tights
Miz Mooz boots

The tights are a darker blue than the dress, but more or less match the cardigan. Should I have worn brown tights to match the boots? I'm still new so any input is welcome.

Looks good (and office appropriate enough) to me!

In terms of the tights, it's hard to tell the colors based on the picture, but I think that the color contrast between the tights and the boots are low enough that both blue and brown would work with this outfit. I'm assuming that your hair is some shade of brown that is similar to the boots, so it's pretty cool as is because not only are your boots and hair "bookending" the look, but you've got a full repeating color pattern thing going on.
