There was yellow colour for Angie.
And blue for my little Prince Blue, of course.
Saturday was packed with fun activities. Our local Music School had an open day, so we finally went to check the place in the early afternoon, meet the teachers, have fun trying the instruments and meet friends. Later in the day there was yet another research trip to the furniture stores.
- Outfit #1: I wanted to wear yellow something, that something being the only thing I have - my bag. The rest are old favourites and new favourite shoes.
Sunday was wonderful. The whole Mother's Day festivities actually started on Friday when my son gave me very clear instructions that I must sleep until very late on Sunday because he and his dad will prepare the breakfast and only then I can see what he had made for me. He was fine-tuning his plans a day later and then on Sunday went to the bakery alone to buy the pastry for breakfast. He was so proud of this new feeling of independence.
- Outfit #2: Later that day we went to a small historical town in our neighbourhood and I decided blue something was the order of the day, so I started with this lightweight, yet warm scarf in ink blue with white tie-dyed pattern. The rest is a take on denim-on-denim - surprisingly to me as I seem to have on-off relationship with the formula. Crossbody bag is my all time favourite MOTG accessory. Sunnies to cover sunny spells during the day, booties to make sure feet don't get wet when it rained. The weather was erratic, but we had a great time.
Joyful extras: (1) Master O tries it all -- (2) The handmade card -- (3) Big enough to step out independently -- (4) Blue sky above us during the walk
