Thought I’d share a couple of work outfits with examples of good hair and 2nd (?) day hair? (Honestly, I forget when I washed my hair. All the days seem to run together...)

Good hair day: Blow dried briefly and tried to tame it with some hair oil. I could only stand it down for half a day or so but thought it looked ok. (I remember why I always wore my hair in a pony tail when I was young.) My favorite BR kick crops that were an Angie pick several years ago with a BR leopard camisole—rawr.

Hair clamp day: I feel like the wide leg crops look better IRL. I think the crop tee makes it JFE. Kind of lost my wide leg mojo as of late but still like them and hope to style them better next time. Suggestions welcome.

Wow you look gorgeous, I particularly love the leopard camisole on you. Your hair is looking good, but I do understand that it must be getting harder to style. I have my hair in clips today too. Day 2 hair!

Outfit #2 is nice too, the pink top is a great colour. I prefer the silhouette and youthful vibe of outfit 1. I find for me wide leg pants work best with a tailored jacket or a sleeveless blouse to add structure.

I like to wear very few pieces at a time with no accessories and I can see in these how fit, proportion and attention to details like hair style contribute to making casual outfits with few components look crisp and complete.

Love the cami outfit a lot - always loved those shoes too. And the pink crop top with wide leg jeans is great! But - I know what you mean about having lost the wide-leg mojo. Me too. I'm hoping (because I still have a few pair) that in warm weather I'll feel better in the look. Bare ankles/higher heeled sandals etc help me feel more into it. Pink is a great colour on you, btw. Laughing at forgetting when you washed your hair.....I admit to not remembering if I've put on deodorant etc too.

Your hair looks amazing! I know what you mean about not wanting it down, though. I hate hair that gets in my way! I love outfit #1, and I do think #2 is JFE. You wear the wide-leg crops well.

Love your outfits - bright pink is fab on you!
I can see wide crops with short light colored jacket and espadrilles as
some go out option ( white, pale pink, khaki colors would look great in sunny CA weather I think ) or chunky sneakers in white to lighten up the mood .
It may be the dark color of the wide crops that feels different now since we are moving into warmer, sunnier weather.

And outfit #2 is fab too! I see very much FOUND wide crop mojo here.

I rely very heavily on my Apple watch to tell me what day, date and time it is - and I have to look many times a day.....

The wide legs look great on you, no lost mojo that I see. But I admit I haven't worn mine much (of course, I oactually get dressed about once a week to take groceries and have dinner with my MIL, so I haven't had much opportunity). Both outfits look fab - keep them coming - I enjoy living vicariously!

Thanks so much for the nice comments. It’s fun getting dressed for you guys I'm excited for some warmer weather. It's fun pulling out some different things.

@Bijou: Thanks! Clips are a life saver, aren’t they. I actually bought a barette at Target yesterday so I will have a new hair style to share. Lol! I think the you’re right about adding some structure to the wide legs--it’s been awhile since I tried to wear them that I forgot about that trick!

@Lisa: I’m looking forward to trying wide legs again. They’re just right for the mild weather we’re having since I can wear slides or sneakers. Omg, there’s something about putting my hair up in a clamp that makes me feel like there’s no reason to even bother washing my hair. Good thing no one comes within 6 feet of me!

@Slimcat: Thank you! I do really like pink in small doses. I tried my chore jacket before the black sweater but it didn’t seem fitted enough--I think it either has to be cropped or longer. In between doesn’t quite work.

Kelly, you look super fab. I like your hair down--it looks like a lot of hair! Very cool look, but I also see how it could feel more in control worn up. I felt that way about my hair when I grew it out.

I like both outfits and I think the wide-legs look great. I think the camera angle may be making them look longer than they do in real life, maybe. I imagine you are seeing a little more ankle in person.

Thanks, Sharan! You're right--it just feels like a mop. I think it needs some thinning because there's a lot of bulk. Tried a barrette today and that may be a good interim solution--between freshly washed and 3rd day hair! Haha! Regarding the wide legs--could be camera angle--you're right. I did think it looked more flattering IRL.
