WIW: More EF

I wore this to church. I don’t really have anything else on my calendar. I don’t wear anything special when a friend comes over with her dogs.

I saw this top on the Nordstrom site and was immediately attracted to it: two shades of grey. I ordered two sizes and was surprised when the medium was too small. So I ordered a large. For reference, my turquoise dress is a small.

I saw EF announce this crinkle fabric and thought it looked really comfortable and practical for summer! I love your earrings too. Know what you mean about still not really having a lot on the social calendar. Same.

Love this and would wear the whole outfit, except the sandals. I would have to substitute closed toed, probably gold espadrilles. Is the new top linen? It looks like it could also be worn open as a sleeveless jacket.

l have no exciting reasons to dress up either but working our casual looks is good.

Stellar outfit! I like the variations in grey, the subtle pattern of the skirt and the shine in the shoes. Grey is your colour!

Jenn, thank you. I bought the earrings in Anchorage. They had a big earthquake in 1964. It caused a tsunami that came into San Francisco Bay, wrecking a bunch of sailboats. My mother remembers it.

Christel, thank you. It’s funny, I was complimented on my sandals, but no one said anything about the top.

Joy, I could see you in this top, too. It is linen. I washed it and hung it to dry. I didn’t iron it. It probably shows.

Lisa, thank you. EF sizing is weird. I have small size EF dresses, but I know that I am not small. It must be vanity sizing.

Shevia, thank you. Aside from the tsunami, the earrings have a really long back which I like. So far I haven’t lost any of that style!

Brooklyn, stellar! Thank you. The sizing doesn’t bother me. I was just happy it hadn’t sold out.

What a great top and crazy sizing, it makes online shopping so hard! I have to admit, I love visiting dogs and children, but you need to wear robust stuff when they do. White jeans and muddy paws / sticky fingers definitely don't mix.

Bijou, thank you. You certainly understand why I don’t wear anything nice around dogs. Poor Mr Skunky - when it’s hot he likes to hang out under our deck, and cool off in the dirt. So even if we bathed him every day (and we don’t), he’d still be filthy. When he comes in, he lays on a vent and you hear the air whistling through his fur.

Lyn67, thank you. I think the earrings are cooler than I am. Because I’m not cool!

Helena, thank you. I forgot that the top is a gingham pattern. The fabric is a little heavier than classic gingham, but has a great feel to it.
