WIW: Missey Copycat

I thought Missey's outfit yesterday looked lovely. It immediately reminded me of this outfit (pic 1) that I pinned a while ago and intended to wear. So today, I'm wearing a mash-up between the two.

I love this sweater, but I'm wondering if it is still a current shape. I saw a Joie sweater with the same shape at Nordstrom recently, but I don't recall seeing handkerchief hems or similar much lately.

What do you think? Current? or Dated?

K, Angie calls me Debs as do some of the other fabbers, and I like it:) In my real life I am always called "Deborah" however my mum calls me Deb and my sister calls me Monkey (A "Lost In Space" reference... which my Master 10 finds hilarious). The one thing I never get called is "Debbie" lol, it's just not me Thanks for asking for your very kind words

I want to copy this look too! Both you and Missey look effortlessly chic which to me is the pinnacle of casual style. Seriously I cannot find a higher compliment for casual outfits.

As for the handkerchief hemline, I have a few tops from last year like this and have not worn it. I think I got 2 of them in 2012 thinking the longer points on the sides would hide my pearish hips, but I found that it was really hard to wear a jacket or sweater over this hemline and I live in layers in the winter so these ended up being orphans.
