Aww, it turns out I was misinformed. The big winner was actually Agnes (alas, Brooklyn, the chicken world must still carry an anti-rooster bias). Bruce, however, won Best Personality. Here's a photo album, just to prove I didn't make this up.

I'm pleased that so many of you seem to like the bold lip. That's definitely not an everyday look for me, but it's sure fun on occasion, and nice to know it's something I can pull off.
Suz, I think we all have those nights where dinner goes terribly wrong. Time for the backup plan!
LisaP and Suz, Interesting that the lippie was so transformative! I wonder if that's what threw rachylou off as well?!
Sara, the kids did seem to have fun! I admired their stamina, because it was well over 90° out and the whole thing took more than an hour.
BethAnn, I did try a cognac belt on when I was getting dressed, and it was cute, but just too much for the day. I could definitely see it working in the winter.
We do really love our games. We treat board games as part of our entertainment budget and judge them according to what we call "the movie algorithm." Divide the price of the game by the number of players and the number of hours spent on it per player. Multiply by two to represent two hours of entertainment for one person. If that number is less than the cost of a movie ticket, the game was worth the price. Unsurprisingly, there are very few games that don't end up qualifying as a good value! We do a family game night every Friday, where we order out dinner (thus skipping cleanup!) and play for a couple hours. We also have game days with friends and family once a month or so.
Brooklyn, French was what I was going for! I originally tried the same outfit with a graphic T, but I just wasn't feeling it. I think it'd work with a leather jacket on a cooler day, though.
