Thank you for the well wishes, all - let's hope 2021 is more of a calm pond than the raging tsunami that was 2020!
@Nikki, @Liesbeth : Thank you. I bought my tassel earrings from a small UK business which sadly seems to now be defunct but I'm sure you could find a similar style near you, or even DIY some. Just a warning if you do, though - I actually debated trimming these tassels so they would be more shoulder length, but was advised against it by my wedding MUA (apparently she'd tried it & the earrings end up fraying terribly).
@slimcat : Your PJ's sound great! That's one combination I can't pull off - cream & black, perhaps, but pure B&W is too high contrast for me without another colour added to the mix. But you wear it with panache! I'd love to live vicariously through you with an outfit photo of your B&W PJ's, but only if you're willing
@coco lion : You're too kind! These pyjamas are actually by DVF with House of Color (had no idea she made anything but wrap dresses before seeing these, actually) - the matching long sleeved top is also green velvet with golden embroidery at the hem. Might debut it as a top outdoors one day, if I'm feeling brave enough!
@FashIntern : Thanks, I was working until Wednesday this week (have a conference in mid January that I need to be prepared for) but it feels like I just blinked & it's already Saturday. Arghhhhh lol! Will try to make the most of my upcoming week off, though - make sure you get some rest too!
@Janet : Those are such chic PJ's. I love that they're named 'Dynasty' - definitely evokes the glam image of that show! I like the kimono-esque sleeves on the top - could see it worn unbuttoned with a tank top peeking through for daywear. The trousers could be trickier because of the drawstring waist, but you could maybe pull it off with a longer top or wide belt to cover it? Although I do have a pair of silk wide leg pants that I wear outdoors with the drawstring showing, since I have no shame lol
