Let me start off by saying that yes, my shirt is buttoned correctly, lol.  I am uber wrinkled and didn't realize that until after the photos ( I sat in a car for 3 hours to and from an appointment ).

This is a new...I don't know..."style" , I guess.  It was definitely a bit of a stretch for me.  What is "newish" to me is  wearing the button down, it is a print, and the booties are a total "out on the limb" for me.  Also, except for my hair, there is no dark color.  Holy cow ! I liked it overall and felt comfortable.  I thought of dyeing the boots black, then of returning them, blah, blah, then I wore them around the house to get mentally used to them and I ended up really liking them out and about. AND they are really comfortable.

My haircut is also new. I went to a someone who is known to be a master cutter and told him to do whatever he wanted. Whatever.  And he said that I should keep the length but layer so that my hair didn't look like the Liberty Bell.  Eek !  What a right on description of before.  I really like it and it is a wash and wear, yay !

Button down , Gap boyfriend shirt in a super lightweight cotton and a lavender print.

Loft capri jeans that I am really enjoying rolling up  ( thank you Angie and all the other ladies who suggest it. )

The booties are from Nordstrom, but I cannot remember the brand. It was breezy today so my feet were chilly !   I think that these will work in the summer too. I am very excited !

The jacket is the faux leather that was Angie approved  and I bought at the Boston meet up. It is a deep purple color.  I love the detail, as you can see on the back  and I have worn it a lot though I was very unsure about the color.

I am starting to feel as if I am coming out of my "cancer slump"...and feeling very good about it. I feel brave, sartorially speaking.

Suggestion ?  Tweeks, twerks...anything will be gratefully taken into consideration.
