I was up for Angie's forum challenge to wear maximal outfits, but with the high temps in the 90's F and humidity at 60%, there was NO WAY to layer. A quick search on pinterest for maximal summer looks produced pics with maximal prints and/or proportions.
My version:
Swing striped dress for the bold stripes and the roomy a-line fit.
Necklace for bling and linear lines.
Black strappy sandals for hot temps and more bold lines.
Hat for frizzy hair camouflage and subtle horizontal lines. (I had a black felt brim hat that I almost wore, but it always feels seasonally confusing to wear with open sandals.)
So this might not look maximal to most and I was not feeling super stylish. However it was a fun JFE look for me and it was fun to try it for Angie.
