This was my first attempt styling a maxi skirt I just picked up at the GAP 40% off sale. I'd always heard that maxis were not advisable for shorter ladies, but I felt it looked OK as long as there was a "column of color" involved. By pick-up time, I had shed the cardigan as it had warmed up.

I wore it to drop off my daughter for her first day in her new preschool classroom.. Her verdict on her new classroom? "I love preschool!" (whew...)

Comfort level: perfect. Great for sitting on the floor and exploring her new classroom.
