I've always liked seeing matchy-matchy outfits on others here, but I myself do not normally plan my outfits that way. I like contrasts. Inspired by Angie's post on the forum, I thought I'd take a stab at a couple of matchy-matchy, casual, weekend looks.
1) Wore to dinner and a movie. A grey outfit, but it made me happy, except for the shoes, which seem a bit clunky looking in this photo. It was sprinkling outside, so I didn't want to chance nicer shoes.
2-4) I love these lilac cords from Loft, but I do not have a lot to wear with them. Looking through my scarf selection, I was inspired to mix this burgundy pleat back sweater with the lilac. Maybe this outfit is not matchy but coordinated? I did get a couple of compliments on this outfit. One from a stranger at the mall.
