Hello everyone, here is my wiw from today. The plan is to go vote, then to a casual birthday dinner for a friend. It’s warm-ish but a bit variable, about 25c but with rain here and there (!).
The sweater is a definite dark navy, merino wool from uniglo. Though unfortunately that colour always seems to look black in photos. I am wearing it half tucked to try and give a more flattering shape (we all know the challenges of skirts with pleating!), and I have nothing under the sweater except a bra. I find this sweater just sits much better with no under layer.
The skirt is neon fuschia, brand is unknown, with jelly yellow shoes and neon fuschia clay ear studs.
Any feedback or comments appreciated.
I don’t think these shoes are perfect for the outfit, but they are fun and playful, comfortable, and “close enough” for a quirky casual vibe….I hope . I may change them later on if I can figure out something better from my shoe drawer. something a little more sophisticated for the dinner perhaps.
