I ended up with not much time to get DS home, fed, ready for sitter and then dressed and back out the door. So I just went with my first idea, which was the plaid suit and thrifted leopard coat, plus blue metallic oxfords (ETA: Intentional lack of PPL, poor Angie!). Added this Mongolian lamb collar that I took off another (thrifted!) sweater - it has a hook in front and can be worn like a scarf.
The concert was really fun but packed with hordes of teenagers (there was general admission and no age limit!) - I spent a lot of time kicking people in the ankle to stop them from trampling me. Finally I went and stood in the back where I could breathe and actually see. He's a great performer with tons of energy and his songs are mostly really profound - funny that Thrift Shop is the one that made him so popular.
