WIW: lots of spring outfits, a little bit of everything

Another catch-up WIW post with outfits from the last couple of weeks. Really enjoying spring dressing this year - I haven't added too many items this season but am wearing the heck out of the ones I did buy, and lots of old favorites are also making an appearance. Been wearing a lot of black denim lately.

1: crazypants, grey blouse (ack it's so wrinkly!), gold toe booties, and a hand knit cowl. I feel like these pants are slightly too short, but I think it works with the higher shaft booties.
2: double floral pattern mixing
3-4: teal and hot pink, with lots of black. I think this was a colder day.
5: Liberty shirt and black denim skirt. I think I've finally found the right bottom to go with this shirt. It's just slightly too short for pants, but I like it paired with something a bit more casual, so this new black denim skirt is just perfect.
6: a burgundy complement!
7-8: old striped tube skirt paired with my new Anthro jacket and patent oxfords
9-10: hand knit linen Matrix-esque sweater and jeans, with my new olive utility jacket. I love olive and pink together.
11: a spring scarf, I think it's from NAS last (?) year. Paired with periwinkle and pink.
12-13: drapey spring layers, with the floral scarf again. I love how this came out and it was really fun to wear.
14-16: Black denim skirt, cutout combat boots, a hand knit shell, and drapey faux leather topper. This feels kind of 90s to me, which I love.

You manage to have such a great variety of patterns and silhouettes - I always like your WIW.

My favourite is 6 - your burgundy complement is gorgeous. I also like the crazy pants in 1 - I am always drawn to cool patterns. I think these would work with sandals too or mules? Even the ones in the second pic?

I also like 11 a lot on you.

The tube skirt is so flattering - definitely an oldie but a goodie.

These are fantastic. Love the colours, the pattern mixing and seeing our jacket. Can I ask you about the boots in 5 and 14? Am I right in thinking that these are cut out boots and that you are wearing coloured socks underneath? Love it!

Brooklyn, yes they are cutout boots with colored socks. They’re a brand called Matiko but are several years old.

You have such a sweet, cute style. I really love how you wear booties with a skirt. Both short and midi lengths.

Yes, the pink bag is a large Le Pliage.

It’s interesting how many of you are liking #11! I like it too, but it’s basically just jeans and a t-shirt, plus a statement scarf. Just goes to show that sometimes simple is best!
