Today I tried layering a long drapey cardigan over a dress over pants. I think this outfit would have been better with oxfords or untucked booties, but it's too cold. I chose my Nikkis, because I consciously wanted a dress-over-pants look and not a dress-over-leggings look, but I think they are a bit bunchy with these boots and probably some skinnier jeans would have been better. What do you think? More fun/interesting with the slouchy skinnies, or would more streamlined skinny-skinnies have been better?
