WIW: linen sweater and slouchy printed pants

Going fluid on fluid today with my handknit "Matrix" linen sweater over the slouchy printed track pants. Super comfy. The silky bomber is just in case the weather cools down but so far it has not been needed.

handknit sweater, Gibson track pants, Naot sandals, Hinge jacket.

Could try it with a dark cami? I think the line of the beautiful sweater would not be broken then. Love the jacket with it.

There is NOTHING I don't like about this Diana! First of all, your hand knit items just blow me away - you have got MAD SKILLS! And the fluid on fluid totally works here since both the pants and the knit are what I would refer to as "restrained fluidity" - not overly voluminous.

There is a run in your sweater!
I love the neckline of your cami underneath your sweater, very flattering, much more flattering than a cami that's straight across the chest. I will keep this in mind when I am shopping for basics.

That's an interesting idea, Deb. I'll try a black cami when I get home. I have pretty much resigned myself to grinning with this sweater because I don't have any camis long enough to reach the hem (long camis are always too tight at the hips) and I don't have white pants. But you're right, a black one might be lower contrast with the pants.

Bella, yes I really prefer a shallow v-neck cami instead of a straight neck one under things these days too.

Angie, you're right! I hadn't even registered that the bomber totally makes this a sporty lux outfit! =)

Are these really track pants though, Angie? I am always on the fence about what actually they are since they have zips instead of elastic hems. (Like the Leith pants, I guess). I couldn't make any of the elastic hem ones work for me at all.

Yup. Silky UPSCALE track pants. Mine are very similar to yours but in ink blue silk with hem zippers - no cuff. They are by Sandro.

Another gorgeous sweater! Love the purposeful "runs", great little design detail. Fab outfit, I second the idea of trying a darker camisole underneath to highlight the sweater further.
