WIW: linen and leather

Dinner with a friend for the first time in 12 months today! I dressed up a little to celebrate nothing too special, but I am finding my Autumn on the Beach palette makes it easy to mix and match things. And cropped toppers must be matched with low contrast bottoms so I don’t look too wide.

Culottes - linen and hemp blend from a Eileen Fisher that I bought on sale abs finally fit into - yeah! I am obsessed because they are the perfect blend of crisp yet relaxed.
Top- Oui
Jacket - light leather - Rag & Bone. The sleeves are fine; I just forgot to uncuff after washing my hands

And also - first time to mosque in a year! Wore my favorite summer dress by Max Mara.

What elegant outfits. The dress is stunning on you; I can see why it's your summer fave. Nice to get back to some normal activities! I also really like your hair. In another post you mentioned the awkward pandemic grow-out, and this pulled-back look is a pretty solution!

Lovely culottes - I like to call those sorts of trousers 'summertime jeans', because of the way they fill that 'easy to mix & match, polished casualwear bottoms' category but without the stiffness of actual heavy jeans

The leather jacket is lovely too - it's one of my HEWIs, since I have yet to find one in brown with a collarless neckline (most of the styles here have a lot of studs/ zips/ harsher lines & biker details).

Lastly, that dress fits you wonderfully. A YLF Hat trick! PS - Just PM'ed you

And i love the wide leg pants and shorter jacket, the colors work really well together, and the proportion work
and YAY for getting out and about, seeing friends and getting back to in person community/worship.

Outdoor dining? DH and I are making reservations for June 30 - coincidentally the day we progress to stage 2 re-opening. Second jab booked for July 2. Can haircuts be far behind?

Gorgeous! Yes the beach color scheme is just perfect on you. I love the texture of the culottes juxtaposed with the pattern n the jacket. Dress is stunning too!
