Apologies for my expression in the first photo. I have a bad case of bitchy resting face.
To me, light wash denim = super casual, but I've already worn my dark bootcuts once to work and really wanted to try these out. I hope the burgundy silk blouse and big patterned scarf up the ante a bit. The round toe and blocky heel on these booties works with the 70s trend on the lower half in my mind. Love that my necklaces are slightly hidden within the scarf, like a delicate secret. Fairly simple hair and makeup, the eye shadow has some burgundy that isn't visible in these dim bathroom lights.
Questions: Partial tuck or no tuck?
Does this outfit look modern, or trying too hard and failing?
Any other input greatly appreciated
