It's hard to look put-together when it's hot. I sympathize for those who have a lot of the weather we've been having lately in Seattle. It seems we're in the middle of our annual heat wave, which is usually fairly short-lived.

The outfits:
1-2 (worn for work yesterday): Linen trousers in sand dollar (NYDJ, Wylie); metallic-coated linen asymmetrical top (made by me); pewter belt with rhinestones and studs (Calvin Klein); pewter and taupe sling-back Mary Janes (Fidji); silver marcasite earrings (Judith Jack); watch-style bracelet with crystal-crusted disk and pewter leather strap; taupe leather hobo bag (Aunts & Uncles).

3 (worn for a day off and piano lesson today): cotton bermuda shorts in stone (Lulu-B); floral mesh A-line tank top in sage green, brown, and cream (made by me) over cotton cami in sage green (BP); cream platform sandals with ring detail (Naot); aqua and brown bead necklace and earrings with antique gold metal (local boutique).

Thanks for looking! Thoughts and suggestions welcome.
