Since leggings have kind of been coming up a lot lately, I thought I'd post two recent leggings-based outfits. These are both with the thicker ponte kind, which is generally what I wear with tunics (as opposed to under dresses) because I think the bit of extra coverage makes it a little more presentable.

#1 was worn on Friday to a thrilling double-doctor-appointment day (eye and dentist). I like how this super-long cardigan works with the leggings. The blue tunic was really cheap on sale at Anthropologie and, sadly, it may not be long for this world since the necklace I was wearing caught on it and made a few tiny holes. I'm also wearing the Sam Edelman booties I was dithering about earlier. Glad I kept them!

#2 is out to dinner on Saturday with a new polka-dot sweater from H&M. Since I was downtown for my appointments anyway on Friday, it would've obviously been a complete waste if I didn't take a little advantage of being near the good stores when they weren't crowded, right?

Also new this week: my phone. Am enjoying the better, sharper camera! (And the all-around shiny new phone feeling.)
