In the spirit of leave no retail stone un-turned, I tried on a few pairs of boyfriend jeans at Target last week. And at last, I found a pair of boyfriend jeans that feel flattering and natural to me. Hooray! For $30. Double Hooray! So, today for jeans day at work, I'm in dressed up, dressed down boyfriend jeans.
Also appearing in this outfit, but not too visibly, is my new $20 bib necklace from JCrew.
So, I'm wearing more jewelry in this than I normally wear anymore, but I think it works. Here's what I'm thinking: I think the brassy/gold reads as almost a skin-tone. Add in the limited color palette and shoes that repeat the simple black and gold, and it doesn't seem like too much. What do you think?
