I've discovered that I don't love chunky knits on me, what do you think?

#1 looks good. Streamlined and edgy with the stripes softening the look a little.

I like the sweater in #2 and don't find it too bulky but I understand how you feel. I really prefer finer and slimmer line knits but perhaps it all in the styling. Do you have have anything on under it.?

Shedev, I don't know where you live but maybe your eye just needs to get used to the chunky sweater again while the weather cools down further? And how clever are you to wear a stripe sweater that mirrors the rows of buckles on your boots.

I really like the leather panel jeans in picture #1! I have a love hate relationship with chunky knits. Sometimes I love to look at the design/colors- but then I don't appreciate wearing the item because it makes me feel bulky. I could see the leather panel jeans pairing nicely with a tailored blazer, thin knit/fitted sweater, and a classic white shirt.
