WIW: Leading Up to Christmas - YouLookFab Forum

Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and that you all have a happy and prosperous new year. Things have been crazy at work as this is the busy season for the airline. Equally crazy at home with parties and BBQs galore. I have a brother who lives in Amsterdam and he and his family arrived back in NZ for Christmas so lots of catching up to do. Currently preparing to go to Waiheke a small island about 30 minutes ferry ride from Auckland - with beautiful beaches and vineyards.

Here are a couple of WIWs in the week leading up to Christmas. Love this wrap around skirt purchased at a car boot sale - the fabric feels lovely makes me want to twirl. The black and white skirt is a thrift shop purchase that I've had for ages but hardly wear - so I've decided to change that.

Your upcoming holiday sounds perfect.
Red sure is your colour, and this high-waisted skirt has a lovely slimming effect, especially with the black top.
Love the block of white on the other skirt too. This one you could wear across seasons-could see it with red pumps or heeled booties, lots of options.

Yes thanks- hubby and I usually buy ourselves a pressie for the house or garden: this year the patio couch in the background of my X-mas lunch pic. Every time I look outside it is being sat on by cat, dog or person, so I think it will be well used!
I hope you were spoilt too.
