Today was a fun day. My son had a robotics team event in Denver, so we left early to get him there by 8:30. Husband and I walked to a coffee shop near the host school and found a farmer's market on the way, where a friend of mine happened to be selling. We spent our morning chatting and browsing and drinking excellent Mexican mochas, all in the kind of atmosphere where I felt perfectly comfortable wearing my new Panama hat.
Pic #1 shows my morning layers... Kut leggings with a loose, lightweight sweater, denim jacket, ballet flats, and hat.
Pic #2 shows the outfit once the hat and jacket came off. I'll confess, I'm not fond of this sweater without a topper. Neither the shape nor the color really do anything for me, but at least it's functional for transitional weather.
Pic #3 would be the photo I took this morning in my bedroom skinny mirror. I like to pretend I really look more like this than like in #1.
