A couple of years ago I got rid of almost all of my classic, fitted cardigans. I kept this one as it is handknit, and my threshold for purging handknit items is a lot higher than that for purging storebought ones. Nevertheless, I haven't worn it much in the last year. Today I decided to see if I could rehabilitate it by layering it under a blazer like a vest. (It's 15F right now so I appreciate the extra wooly layer!) I like how it turned out! I wanted to button more than just one of the buttons but for some reason the buttons did not want to stay done. Oh well.
