WIW lately...and Frye-day on Monday

Pic 1-3 another try at making a peplum work for me. Just seems to emphasize my ample middle. But wore it with some distracting silver loafers and perforated leather jacket (Iris Setlakwe).
Next up is the annagybe sweatshirt twin from H+M. Totally soft and comfy.it was a rainy Saturday and I didn't feel like wearing LLBean duck boots, do put on my La Canadiennes.
Finally, today we have a Joe fresh blouse, ricki's blazer and long tall sally pull on pants and my Frye boots. Are they ever hard to get on! But I think worth it.

Eta: can't seem to remove the shot of my youngest in her ballet gear...oh well, enjoy!

Love the silver slippers and the cobalt peplum. The outfit in 5 is just gorgeous--especially with the arm candy. Adore the simplicity of 7--I want that sweatshirt too. I'd totally wear that if I had the right pieces. Fryes are to die for. LOVE! All of these are so flattering and make you look so long and lean.

Oooh! Silver shoes! I love the blue of the peplum and do not see any middle area issues. #7 is gorgeously simple -- perfect for a weekend afternoon. And the last outfit is amazing on you!

Are these the Frye boots with two layers on the top?? If so, I have these too. I asked my grandson one afternoon to pull them off for me, and he pulled me off my feet LOL..

That being said, you look wonderful in all of these photos, but I really like the ones with the boots the best!!

Thanks for the boosts, ladies. Ceit, I will have to ask about boothooks at the shop I got these in. They have 30% off Frye boots every day! I will definitely be going back there. Cheryl, these are the Melissa style, not sure what you mean about layers. They are much easier to take off than put on, and they smelled awesome all day (fresh leather, mmmmm).

Love the extra DD shot! What a cutie!

You're looking amazing. I think the peplum is working beautifully. Sometimes we look in the mirror or a pic and just stare at one spot, or at least I do. You length makes it very hard for my eye to stop on a few inches of midriff.

The perforated jacket is a brilliant purchase, and all the outfits are stellar. I like the slight equestrienne look of the last look, too!

I'm with Mary -- it's the leather jacket that has my eye. Love your style and the last outfit is so quintessentially fall. This makes me think of fall in the East -- you know, some antiquing and maybe tea with a friend, then a walk to look at some old church graveyards covered with leaves.

Nicole, sorry I couldn't see which Frye boots you were wearing...these are the ones I have that are soooo difficult to take off. At the very top of these boots there is an additional leather "flap" thingy.

I think the peplum looks nice! If you feel self conscious wearing peplum without a jacket, try find those that have a higher waist and longer drop.
The leather jacket is a winner and so are the boots!!
