I am wrapping up the February challenge with pushing myself to wear some older unloved pieces.
The black floral skirt was almost donated, but saved due to some feedback from the forum. I really enjoyed it with the black top and green shoes. I will try and rewear this before the end of summer. It had been only worn once this summer (to and from surgery which is not really a good test).
The white blouse has had two more wears - I seem to have worked out that I really like it with denim. The first outfit (photo 1, picture 1) features my new yellow Goodsole sneakers - for work. The second one features my new ecru wide leg jeans. My feet were sore after a 8 hour hike the day prior so I went back to my EF sandals. I don't often wear a light neutral with black accessories but I liked it - especially having comfortable feet.
The last photo is heading out for a cocktail with some friends on a very hot summer night. I almost melted walking the 1.5 km there to the cocktail.......
Thanks kkards for the challenge. It has led me to enjoy some neglected pieces again. I think rewearing something for the day is a good test of whether to donate or keep, sometimes as the day goes on I can't wait to take a piece off, and other times I think how much I am enjoying it. Better than just a try on when you are unsure.
March here will be a bit more challenging as I have a professional day visit to another city followed directly by packing for a multi day hike. It is going to be an interesting exercise!
Thanks for looking.
