To be honest, most of August was spent just trying not to melt into a puddle, and at this point in the summer I am just rewearing the same dresses and sandals over and over again, so I don't have many outfit photos from the last few weeks.
Nevertheless, here are a few outfits that I bothered to photograph. I am looking forward to fall for the clothes!
1-2: linen on linen. I was going for something like the inspiration photo in #10 with a loose linen top semitucked into linen trousers, although my trousers are straight legs and not wide legs, so a bit more fitted at the top than the inspiration. This was fun and swishy to wear!
3: Casual outfit at Tanglewood with floral blouse, jeans, and sneakers.
4-5: I bought this black and white floral dress at the Rack recently because I wanted a new dress to make the summer more bearable, and I've missed having a black and white option. Here worn with oxfords and a white denim jacket. It's a bit low cut at the v-neck so I've been wearing it with various bralettes underneath.
6: Another wearing of the dress with gladiators. Unfortunately I think the dress may not last super long as it seems prone to pilling/snagging, but it was inexpensive enough that I don't really mind.
7-9: Today's pattern mixing extravaganza with Liberty print blouse and striped cropped flares. I semi-tucked the top because it's too long and boxy (and the ruffle when untucked hits at a rather unflattering spot). I hope the mullet thing the semi-tucked ruffle is doing is not too weird!
