I was in a mood to try and wear lots of white bottoms last week, with Labor Day coming and all that. Now I do not subscribe to no white after Labor Day rule, and would probably still wear most of these after the holiday if the weather permits, with the exception of #4 with wide legged white linen pants, which does feel very summery. The first five outfits are from work, and the second five from various free time activities. As always, all the comments and suggestions are welcome!
#1, Monday work: it was a busy day with lots of running around so good time for Ensemble: Knit Blazer with Casual Pants
#2, Tuesday work: simple outfit of patterned top and white jeans
#3, Wednesday work: similarly simple outfit with white BF jeans, with a striped collared shirt for more serious look as I had an important meeting
#4, Thursday work: probably the last take of this summer on Ensemble: Casual Linen with Sandals.
#5, Friday work, already posted. First attempt of
Ensemble: Dark Red with Pink & Orange
#6, Thursday evening: casual outfit with full white cotton skirt. Inspired by Ensemble: Modern Midi , though the skirt is not a midi.
#7, Saturday and #9, Sunday: day activities with friends, both inspired by Ensemble: Ultra Casual Blue & White. #8, social dancing on Sat evening, was a slightly dressier version of the same ensemble
#10, Monday museum visit for a live butterfly exhibit: finally got to wear my "space pattern" bomber in a Ensemble: Pencil Midi and Bomber Jacket outfit. I love all the patterned bombers on the forum in the past two years, but it took forever to find a pattern that "sang" to me, as I did not like the floral versions of me. I was also in a mood for dark colors yesterday, since the forecast predicted rain, and the day before I was caught in a thunderstorm in #9. While I ahd an umbrella it did not help at all and I was all wet and soaked. The white shirts became clingy and see-through, and luckily I was wearing a high-low top that covered my backside.
