More warm weather dressing - so far I'm enjoying it, probably because we're only 1 month into 5 months of summer. (Sorry about #5 - bad lighting drained the colour.)

Look at your tiny waist in #2! It's a lovely, fresh, slightly retro look -- I think of 50s movie stars in Rome!

I really like #1 also. Then, #5 looks like a 30s outfit. These slightly retro looks are your signature, I think. Along with dresses and skirts. But you also wear the shorts very well.

Like how, rachy? #4 and #5 didn't have enough belt holes to be worn at my natural waist, so I would have preferred those higher.

Great outfits all around. My faves are 2 and 4. They show off your tiny waist. And I love the color of the top in 2; it really suits your coloring!

I am going to go with 2 and 4 as my faves because YOUR TINY WAIST! I would love to look like that in anything. Just lovely summer looks - I was wondering how your colors and style would translate, and they translate perfectly to warm weather.

These outfits are lovely on you! I agree, your dresses and skirts really flatter you, and the shorts outfits have a little bit of retro ladylike tomboy about them. Grace Kelly comes to mind. . .

I had a similar thought re: summer dressing last week (Hey! This isn't so bad! Oh wait...this is only the beginning...), I say we should enjoy the novelty factor while it's still there.

I really love your skirt and dress looks this week, like everyone else! I'm wondering too if you ever wear blouses with your shorts? You still look good in the shorts and tee/tank looks, but since you have such a midcentury elegance to you, I keep picturing classic movie stars in their cute little short & tied shirt outfits!

Hmmm: if you wanted to tie it in a little knot (a la retro summer outfits) it'd have to button down the front. Other than that, perhaps something with a collar you can stand up a bit like you recently did with the brown dress? But I think any woven blouse could work: I'm not sure what the blouse section of your closet looks like! Sorry I can't be more specific: I'll try to find some pics later.
