I love the jacket you've paired these with. It looks great on you and really gives your outfits a unique look. #1 has a very romantic/vintage feel. My favorites are #3, #5, #7 and #8.

I wouldn't describe any of your looks as corporate! I think you're safe there. But whimsy is always a plus in my book. hehe Of course I love seeing another week of your outfits, with all of their flattering shapes and colours. So on to details!

I love the buttons on that cream blouse (have we seen it before?). In 6, the skirt looks almost like culottes; I'm sure it's a quirk of the photo, but I bet you'd look adorable in them or breeches if you ever wanted to wear them. Speaking of menswear influences, I bet you'd look fabulous in a vest/waistcoat too, with all of your curls pinned up and the romantic other pieces in your clothes. Although that might all be too tomboyish for your style, just thinking out loud.

I do think you should be on the lookout for a similar jacket (it's so perfect on you) in a different colour (maybe a light neutral like cream? or a medium one), but I suspect that's easier said than done.

First of all, I love your hair! The lovely texture works so well with your style. That jacket is such a versatile piece, definitely worth duplicating in another color as E suggested. Pic one can be summed up in two words: vintage charm. My favorites are 5 and 8. Skirts are very flattering on you.

I'm back! Thank you all so much for your suggestions. To all who commented about the jacket, it is by Caslon (Nordstrom brand, I believe?) and is completely a knit material. So it fits my aesthetic & feel (I love cardigans like E).

It feels special to get personalized recommendations like that from you guys! (I will admit to eventual boredom with heavy use of this jacket, so another go-to topper would be nice.) I have a chestnut skirt - can't fit back into it yet - that I've often wondered about getting a chestnut topper for so I could bookend. It's the same color as the sweater in #4 of http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-monday-5.

E, are you in my head? Hehe. We share more and more style preferences, I'm finding. When you posted those cropped corduroy breeches, I thought I might wear something like that as a bit of a departure. Then last week I rolled up my brown corduroys just to see, and I like the look! I've found myself liking pants tucked into boots a lot lately, very different for romantic/retro me, and have a pair of pants on order exactly for that purpose. I'm excited! (Not quite the same as breeches, which I'm afraid wouldn't be that great for my spring/fall-less climate, but I sure do like the look.)

The cream blouse is new, very new; this is the first time I've worn it (purchased 3rd trimester). I've been looking for a soft cream button-down for a while.

And to cap it off, I do indeed have a vest (gray-brown plaid) and a knit one (brown scoop neck) and love vest looks. I can't wait to wear them once the weather gets warmer (again, style love but impractical). Not too tomboy-ish at all!

Oh fun! Apparently I am in your head. I understand that breeches wouldn't work so well weatherwise for you, but I'm looking forward to seeing your other trouser looks! A chestnut topper sounds like a great addition: now you just have to find it. I want a knit jacket now too, thanks to you, but I've yet to see any in thrift stores!
