WIW last week - more work days, but one casual attempt

Not much to say about these work outfits, except that I am finding myself pretty comfortable and satisfied with going to my closet and finding something pretty and appropriate most of the time. That is really nice!

#1 I wore this top with a camel skirt and tan t-strap heels last time. Thought I'd try it with my purple suede shoes. I think I like the camel skirt with it better, though.

#2-3, 3/4 sleeve knit top, colorful fall print, orange corduroy blazer. This felt like a success probably because of the pencil skirt.

#4 black knit dress with a sort of portrait collar. I really like this pink cardigan and since I have nothing else that "goes" with it, this is how I wear it. New black patent Born oxfords.

#5 - This week I had a very rare evening when I went back to town to do some errands. Tried out the black pants, sneaks, "sparkle" top, and denim jacket. #6 is the jacket I really wore because it was very warm for an October evening - 68 degrees! I am not sure how I liked this combination. Opinions welcome.

CJH, I really like you in the cooler colors in 1 and 4. I also really like the casual outfits. Nice outfits.

1 -- that skirt is wonderful. What brand are those shoes? I swooned.

2 &3-- great colors on you

4 -- the tights and those oxfords totally make this outfit.

5 vs 6 -- Both work, I have preference for 5, but if it's too hot, it's too hot. What would happen if you put the pink cardi over this outfit instead?

All of these looks are fresh and fab. You are so consistent in your looks, which is not easy to do! Here are my favorite elements:

The skirt in #!!
The proportions and color in #3
#4 tights and the oxfords

I love the sneakers in 5 and 6. For some reason I find myself looking for another element, perhaps a print to bring the three items together. Also, what about trying the pink cardi with navy, brown, tan, and grey?

Cjh, I like all the outfits, especially the first and the second one. The print of the top in the second photo is kind of retro and quite fun.

I love all your outfits, C. Prefer the last jacket with the casual sneaks, somehow gives a longer line to the combo.

The denim jacket is my least favorite as it just doesn't flatter your figure.

I understand what you mean about the last outfit, the denim jacket seems to bulky and long for the rest and the other jacket needs a lighter color shirt underneath (at least to my eye).
Do you have a lighter colored jacket you can wear with the shirt/pants combination?Or maybe try a longer and collared shirt with the denim jacket?

Shiny, the purple suede shoes are from Kohl's "house brand", off the clearance shelf a couple of years ago. Aren't they cool? And rather comfy, actually. I think I paid $10 or $15.

Great outfits CJH! Of the weekend looks, I prefer the one with the anorak (#6). I think the denim jacket would look great with a brighter or non-blue shirt. And I really love the colors in #3, beautifully autumnal.
