My "fashion-oriented" week was truncated by surgery on Thursday (had a pesky gallbladder removed), but here's what I wore Monday-Wednesday and my fashion challenge on Thursday.

The weather has been fabulous around here lately. Cool mornings but fairly warm afternoons. I've been wearing layers that can be removed as the day gets warmer, though, since I'm always cold I rarely end up removing them! However, my goal Tuesday and Wednesday was to create outfits where I could remove my topper and still feel comfortable.

Monday - Wednesday: pics 1-5, worn to work
Thursday: pics 6 & 7, worn to surgery. Now, I know this is a day where I had every reason to be dressed in yoga pants and a hoodie (yes, both of these items still exist in my lounge-wear capsule!) BUT....we were dropping my son off at school on the way to the hospital and my mom was with us and wanted to see his school. Which meant I'd actually have to get out of the car and be seen. My challenge was to find something entirely appropriate for going to and returning from surgery (same-day) - so loose-fitting, easy to get in and out of and COMFORT above all else. But I also wanted to be in something that I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen in. I think this turned out okay, considering the circumstances. No head due to lack of make-up (by requirement - what?!).

Outfit details to follow.
