WIW: last chance for this skirt (keep or purge?)

This linen paper bag skirt used to be a favorite but I haven't reached for it at all this summer. I don't know if I'm just not feeling the paper bag style any more (is it dated?), or if it's just the limitations of the color (is the natural linen color too close to SSB?) and style (can only wear with tucked fitted tops). I do like that it's linen and good for summer heat and humidity. Anyway, I decided to give it one last chance before I purged it. What do you think? Should I keep it around or should I give it the boot?
I tried the Angie laces for my Cons today. I felt like it was a bit too loose/insecure for me, plus I had a lot of lace left over since I don't do the top eyelets, so I ended up tying them around my ankle inside the shoe to secure and shorten them. It worked quite well!

BR top, Tulle skirt, Converse Hi-Ness sneakers.

I vote pass it on. I had a very similar linen skirt from Banana Republic that I used to wear a lot about 10 years ago, but when I joined YLF it got the purge vote.

We are grey wedge sneaker twins! (Sort of, mine aren't real Converse). That top looks great on you--nice color.

I like so many of your other skirts better. This one seems so plain in comparison. Your outfit is super sporty and fun though. I love the Cons in this.

I think let it go -- it isn't bad, but if you aren't reaching for it, there's a reason. Love your lacing!

I have a linen skirt that color that I used to adore. Have totally stopped wearing it. Not sure why but suspect that the same factors are influencing you, me, and Natalie!

Your skirt reminds me of one I asked about on a thread a couple of weeks ago and though some great suggestions were made about updating it, I have to say I ended up donating it. BTW mine was definitely SSB Maybe its time to let yours go if you aren't loving it now.

This is a twin to a skirt I had in 1977. I know this is a classic style that comes around and around, but I still say let it go.

I quite like it but it won't see much use in a fashion season/years of loosey-goosey or draped tops. It then depends on how long you keep stuff for fashions to change.

Purge. I think the colour washes you out, and if it's not as fab as your other things, you won't be wearing it very often.

It's not bad, but just ok. Do you need to wear a slip with it? Can you wear without the self tie belt? What does it hurt to keep it? Do you have a strict # you need to keep at?
I have not tried the shoelace trick yet.

Thanks, all. It's in the donation bag now. I was just not excited about wearing it all day, and it feels a bit old and tired. Plus, as Lyn points out, the color does me no favors. I think I am staying away from natural linen color from now on.
