Hubs and I are celebrating 11 years of wedded bliss this weekend, and we have a full but very casual weekend planned!
Tonight we're going to a rock show (Tuneyards and Sylvan Esso) -- very indie rock and casual, so this a "rock'n'roll" outfit. He likes this silver top on me, so I built an outfit around it: Ash Genial sneakers since we'll be on our feet, Lululemon moto pants, Minkpink top (my fashion truck purchase last year!), Topshop clutch (will probably put the crossbody strap on for the show), and statement ring & necklace. I added a belt since I have the partial tuck going on. I'm mixing dark blue and black in this outfit, which still feels a little strange to me, but I kind of like the unexpected blue pants with the outfit rather than my usual black. It's dark and stormy here right now, so I'm trying to find some light in here for photos. Hopefully you get the idea.
ETA: I realized after posting this that lately I am defaulting to the sporty luxe thing without even realizing it. In this outfit, the "gear" pants and wedge sneaks give a definite sporty vibe!
Tomorrow we're going to the Orioles game and then seeing my stepsons' band play (more rock'n'roll!). Sunday will be our chill out and recover day.
