Me again! As I mentioned in Angie's blog post, I find it hard to place this exact colour (last photo close-up is the most accurate shade) - Emerald/ Kelly/ Jade (although not quite the same shade as my bangle, lol)... I believe I've also seen it called 'Grass' Green too? What's the difference?

Either way, I'm always drawn to this colour but it doesn't love me back, lol So I wear it in small doses instead - like this map print scarf - along with my better colours

Yes, not always easy to pinpoint it exactly, even harder on-screen because colours tend to read a bit differently on different screens.

E.g. in the first 2 photos, the green in your scarf, and your beautiful cardigan/jacket look a bit darker, more forest green to my eye. But the last close-up definitely looks like an emerald to me:-)

Outfit is fab, I'm loving the mix of the earthy brown with the cooler green, and your map print scarf is amazijg!

Gorgeous scarf Zaeobi! In the first pic your sweater looks almost like a moss green, but I’d go with emerald green in the last photo. Gorgeous proportions!

In that last picture, I'd call it "emerald," which is nearly exchangeable with Kelly green to me. "Grass green" is a little more yellow, less blue. Jade green I have seen different definitions, but I think it's even more yellowish, and also softer, less of a jewel tone.

Very good outfit! I like how you've put your scarf by your face to keep your best colors there. I would not have thought to put chocolate brown with this green!

A lovely outfit. It is tricky to know what colour this is, because in the darker photos, it looks like a forest green, but with the flash Emerald. Regardless, the green and brown is a beautiful combination and looks gorgeous on you.

It's so hard to pinpoint, isn't it? Though a forest > emerald green makes sense to me.
Thank you - the scarf is from the Etsy seller 'RobePlus', if anyone is interested Their silk chiffon is light enough for the summertime!

Chocolate brown is my main neutral now, so I pair it with everything - whether it goes or not

It's a chameleon colour! The last shot was taken at home with (somewhat) natural lighting from the window, so I think it's probably the most accurate shade reflection.

Yes, I also find it hard to wear the bright grass green but easy to wear darker forest green - not sure which you have here, but it looks great in the photos.

Yes, I would call grass green and leaf green similar! They both skew just slightly yellowish, slight enough that you usually wouldn't see them as "yellow" unless they were side-by-side with a bluish green like emerald.

Greens are tricky as they can be cool or bluish or warm and yellowish.

I think grass green is warmer than a Kelly or emerald green. Maybe you need.

Thanks @suntiger & @mirjana ! I guess the name isn't as important as the shade, but it helps to ensure you're on the same page as everyone else when online shopping (i.e. that you're inputting the right search terms for warm- rather than cool-toned greens).

@ginger thanks for clarifying! I think grass & leaf green would suit me better since, @joy said, they're more yellow-based - but I find them harder to track down than emerald green (especially on cool-toned monitors!)

I think it looks fab, especially the way you've styled it with the earthy shades of brown! Not sure what color it is exactly (and I have learned the hard way that my monitor isn't so accurate :).
