I'm using the dog days of summer, traditionally the time I am tired of weather and fashion, to unearth some of the older pieces in my closet to give my dressing a bit of variety and also determine what I am ready to let go of.
Case in point: this skirt.
Pros: I love the colour, the antique gold detailing, the subtle shimmer, and the indian design. It's beautiful to me.
Cons: I bought it at the peak of the summer puffy skirt season 10 years ago and I'm afraid it looks dated instead of timeless.
What do you think? I am averse to wearing anything even the teensiest bit dated, so please be honest. The skirt was cheap, so i'm happy to let go of it - but it does call to me for some reason
Also - looking at these pics, the t-shirt does look too drapey and oversized, but this is an XS. I will clearly have to find some more fitted tops if I choose to keep this skirt...
