Home's been very quiet and not nearly as homelike with no furballs underfoot, but I've been adjusting. I had another session with the local stylist to fill some wardrobe holes (plus a few not-critical things that I just love). My closet's not quite as lean as it was right after the audit, but it's still smaller than it was, and I love just about everything in it now (went from 151 non-gear clothing items and shoes to 129, and I have a few placeholders that'll be leaving now that their places have been filled). I feel sorted for clothing for a while, and I'm actually really happy with my shoe collection for maybe the first time ever (the only thing still on my list are basic-but-elegant-and-comfortable black pumps to replace my beat-up pair).

I had a birthday recently and went out to a karaoke bar with friends... my first time. No singing for me, but it was a lot of fun cheering on all the brave souls who did get up on the stage.

Items (all but the jeans are new):
Marc Fisher OTK boots: I now have *two* pairs of OTK boots, which is probable overkill, but I love them both. I think the very low heel makes this pair pretty wearable for everyday. Wearing them over jeans tones them down further. And if I can't wear OTK wine boots for my birthday, then really, what's the point?

Express skinny jeans / jean leggings

Express v-neck lace-up shirt: Different colorway in the find, but same style. This has become a fast favorite. It's relaxed and comfortable but the lacing and plaid give it a little bite. I'm a sucker for lacing/corset details.

Express roll-neck cover up: Another fast favorite
