It just so happened that I started a capsule in early June. I guess I was on the same wavelength as Sterling with the 30x30. My goal was to streamline my work wardrobe--days where I didn't have time to think about what to wear but still wanted to look presentable. (I had 10 tops; 5 bottoms; 5 pairs of shoes and 4 toppers which I even tracked on a spreadsheet!) What I learned is I have a handful of things that are mix and matchable but I have a ton of things that only "go" with a few things. This is not necessarily a bad thing because the other thing I learned is that i crave variety. Having an ample closet is a happy thing. I will never be a minimalist! Anyway, I did this more or less to see if I could. Exercise over. (Felt like I was in a diet.) At least I have a better idea of what kind of tops are most versatile for me and what are work horses (faux draped sleeveless blouse.) My capsule was work only. I threw in a couple of wedding guest outfits and what I wore on a sizzling Father's Day to break up the photo collage monotony. Thanks for looking!
