WIW: jumpsuit with silk blouse, JFE or JFI (Just Forget It)

Jumpsuit from Long Tall Sally, usually worn with a casual topper, like a jean jacket, but it was cold today so I put a blush silk blouse under it. Does it work? Feels comfy but having the blouse on underneath makes bathroom trips even more complicated!
Pardon the photos - hair and make up not done yet.

Hi Nicole,
With your wonderful height you wear jumpsuits incredibly well and I always think you look really stylish and put together.
I am uncertain of this look for you. There is something about the volume of the sleeve material and perhaps high contrast that makes me wonder if this works. Please keep in mind that I consider myself a layering novice and give you mad props for trying a new adventurous look.

Thanks LA Celeste. I tried it with a grey marled long sleeve tee first but it looked harsh, so I reached for something with a bit of colour. It actually contrasts with the jumpsuit but not with my late summer no-tan tan!
And, yes, I left the sleeves down, maybe I could try rolling them. Appreciate your advice and kind words.

i like the jumpsuit with the blouse alot, but i might try a different shoe, something that shows more of the top of your foot. or a lighter color to balance the light colored sleeves

kkards, thanks for the shoe suggestion. I did try a flat nude oxford but I looked "like Aladdin" according to 13 year old DD. Maybe a nude pump or skimpier sandal...

I like it! You look great in blush, are rocking that jumpsuit, and the necklines layer nicely. I think I'd like it better with pumps, but then we wouldn't get to see your coordinating pedicure... .

I'm impressed! I would never have thought of layering like this - not that I have a jumpsuit to layer with or anything, but this is really interesting, and I like it!

Like the blush silk blouse - nice contrast and works well with your hair and skin.. Cool!
