WIW: Jonny Lang concert and morning after

This is the only spot I've been able to find in this house to take pics so far. Excuse the moving disaster.
#1 - WIW to Jonny Lang concert. I love this style of top but they don't usually love me and and my narrow, sloping shoulder line. I bought this shirt before I came to terms with this fact but think I can get away with it a little with the faux tuck and rolled jeans. Honest feedback would be appreciated; I can always use it at lounge wear.
#2 - after getting to bed at 1 a.m. and baby A not sleeping well in the new house for the 5th night in a row, I was more than bleary at 5:30 a.m. so threw on the same jeans and a GAP boyfriend shirt with hot pink squares which my 80's heart LOVES. This is also a pair of GAP jeans that I have had for years that I just cut off and rolled since I don't have any true BF jeans. TGIF & TGFS (Thank God for Starbucks)!

I think 1 works very well for you here. No worries about whether you can get away with this top! Love your BF jeans conversion. YOu might consider making the roll width a bit thinner if you'd like. THat seems to be how they are doing it in the photo shoots these days. You look great in the pink check top!

Your shoulders look quite proportional to the rest of your body in #1 -- no worries! The look is relaxed and modern. The pink is a great, bright choice for a bleary-eyed morning, and you half tuck adds a little kick.

I think the shirt in 1 looks great! I can't see the details too well on my phone when you have multiple images in one photo.

The pink shirt is cute too! Agree on the rolls too.

Those Gap jeans fit you so perfectly and make perfect "faux" BF jeans.

I think the drape and ( likely) movement of the stripey top disguises your shoulder line; it doesn't look narrow or sloping to me.
I too feel the jeans length needs a tweak and a narrower cuff might do the trick as others have suggested.
The pink checks are adorable on you and once again, your shoulder line is well defined.

Great that you are taking time for yourself amidst the grand disruption of a big move.

Shannon - He was really good. Very intense. The indoor venue I saw him at didn't have an adequate acoustics for his band IMO. I'd love to see him outdoors someday. I love him too! In fact he's playing in my house right now!
