On Saturday I decided to revisit one of my pre-YLF standby outfits - black tee, bootcut jeans (waving at Janet), black boots. The red purse also predates YLF, and is still one of my favorites, although it only comes out on weekends when I can get away with a smaller bag. My post-YLF self decided to add a blazer to the mix. I chose my shrunken black Nanette Lepore blazer, which incidentally is the only blazer I had in my pre-YLF days (but I only wore it for dressy or businessy events back then). I completely credit Angie and all of you for showing me how to wear blazers in a casual everyday way. Wore this for a trip to the grocery store and having friends over for a casual dinner. This is super simple and minimalistic for me, which is different enough that it felt really refreshing even though it was essentially my old uniform!
On the heels of my last weeks 5 days of jackets, I have decided to continue and wear the other 4 this week, so this one is #6 of 9.
Nanette Lepore jacket, Lucky Sweet n Low jeans, Gap tee, Frye Veronica shortie boots, gifted bracelet, Via Spiga handbag.
