One of the 2026 trends I am most excited about is visible layering. As someone who runs cold, this trend gives me a way to wear short sleeves when it would normally be just or cold for me. It warmed up enough this week that I felt like i didn’t need a sweater, so I decided to try the 70s flashback short sleeves knit over long sleeve knit. This is a decidedly casual outfit, not sure if I’d wear it exactly like this again, but I think it would look great with my denim shorts.
