WIW instead of jeans - YouLookFab Forum

I usually wear jeans on Friday (though I can wear them most any day) but we are interviewing a candidate for a high level position today so I wanted to dress up a bit.

The pants are cobalt and black (I showed a close up of the pattern) from AT. It doesn't show in the photo but the sweater (LOFT) has a sheer top and insets in the sleeves. It has a straight hem so I tucked a bit in the center to give it some shape. Does it look ok? I've gotten so used to hi low hems and really prefer them now.

I had planned to wear my patent oxfords but the pants didn't drape well with the lower heel so it was time to break out one of the new black booties!

My bag is a brighter blue than the pants but it seemed to work.

Amazing! Thanks for the closeup, so I can see that wonderful pattern and the dramatic (and cool) booties. I've realized that skinny heels aren't for me, unless they're kitten heels, but I love them on others!

I can't see the details of the semi-tuck to comment (black is so tricky), but I love the silhouette, and the relaxed polish you always give by styling your thick, honey colored locks!

Beth Ann, I usually prefer thicker heels but I liked the zipper detail enough to make the skinny heel work. I do like that it makes this pair a bit dressier too.

Love those pants on you. They are amazing. It's a really great outfit. I know what you mean about hi-low and semi-tucked tops. They seem to work some kind of magic to the point where I hardly know how to get dressed without them.
