I have been inspired by television characters this week. I like strong female characters......
Today is the gorgeous, bold, absolutely nuts...Villanelle from Killing Eve.
She does not let her job get in the way of looking good. Stylish, creative and fashion forward.
I took inspiration from her Rome outfit (the red one). I wore a similar silhouette but had less bold black pants. But I wanted some edge so added the big resin necklace, and green heels, They are for tango dancing so are comfortable and I think Villanelle would still be able to operate in them. I added sunglasses mostly because I felt tired and washed out and trained killers should look cool and calm. I wore my hair down but she often wears it up. I guess that is her nod to practicality.
This show is inventive and interesting and definitely original. It is written by Phoebe Waller Bridge who also wrote and acted as Fleabag who was my first inspiration.
If I feel so inspired I have a few ideas for next week:)
