(And with Anna's question in mind.) I put this outfit on yesterday to take my son to a lesson and do some errands and realized how much it was influenced by YLF. It echoes Shannon's outfit, Suz's outfit and the cobalt shoes are definitely with Aida in mind. And finally, the introduction of my newest second hand find - a relatively structured, white Croma bag (second hand but looks new to me) is thanks to a little Angie on my shoulder.
Anyway, I felt very me in this outfit. Me with a little help from my friends!

This is excellent example of what I meant with my answer on Anna's thread

1. What real people wear for real life situations.

Big check. This is what I too would wear to take my son somewhere (playdate with your son ?)

2. Creative expressions of individuals.

You are master of distilling which trends suit you and your life. New stuff you wear are subtle to my eye - although I can identify what's trendy on you, but it just shows you don't look trendy for the sake of it, but use novelty to grow your style. Masterclass every time.

3. The thinking and/or ideas behind some outfits or just individual pieces, which all help me see some of my clothes and style goals in a new light.

Marking to copy. I may have to think harder which top to use, but I'm eager to try this myself.

Diane you have a great eye for detail. This is a (thrifted and altered) skirt by a less well known and possibly defunct Israeli designer. It is the broken lines that drew me to it.

Wooohooooo. Go TEAM WHITE BAGS. I love how the white bag picks up the grey in your hair. It's so modern and fresh. And of course, you are gorgeous in blue.

Soooo lovely!! Too many good things to count : the white purse (go Team White, and what a fab find!), the mix of blues, the fun cobalt shoes (glad you decided to hang onto those a bit longer), the interesting take on a variegated stripe in the skirt ... And of course Team Sassy Curls I really love that wide breezy neckline, it comes across with such fab elegant nonchalance. It's nice to have a little help, especially when the results are 100% us ^^

Shevia, you are one gorgeous lady. I just love the blue top with your silver streaks. I definitely see some YLF influence here, and along with Angie, Suz, Shannon and Aida, I see some of Ozzie Deborah's style in your proportions and flowing top. I love it! This is a terrific, stylish, comfortable and appropriate summer outfit for your day's activities.
