ROG keeps telling me to wear my blush moto (probably because it's the only jacket I have in my finds "wardrobe"), and then this morning I saw Tanya's fantastic blush moto outfit. Clearly the universe is trying to tell me something. My moto is admittedly somewhat seasonally inappropriate, as it's a linen blend, but since it's relatively warm today (but raining), it was fine as an indoor jacket. I popped it over a blouse with a pink/fuschia/red floral print and my bootcuts and oxfords, rain be damned (it was mostly just drizzling anyway). Today's ensemble post inspired me to top it all off with my orange silk/mohair scarf, which is light but provides a little needed warmth at the neck. The blouse doesn't actually have any true burgundy in it, but there are a lot of very-close-to-burgundy shades, so I say it counts for the ensemble.
My burgundy coat would have been better in keeping with the ensemble, but I'm not complaining because it's too warm for a wool coat today! Instead I am wearing my water resistant trench and black Longchamp bag (another ROG suggestion, ha, although I'd have used it anyway as I need to carry my laptop around today.)
Thank you to Tanya for the inspiration, Angie for the ensemble, and Greg for designing ROG!
