WIW in which I ruined my pants

The first pic shows what I originally put on today. The bottom of the legs on the RLR moto jeans was not slim enough for my liking so I tought I'd take in the inner seam. Ugh...I made an irreparable mistake on the second leg and I had to toss them in the bin. At the time it felt horrible and then I remembered why theses pants never got any action, aside from the hem: they were denim twill as opposed to denim and collected animal hair like a Swiffer. Good riddance!

As an aside, I love these booties and really want them in black too. Is it bad to do an exact repeat of a style? Have you done this with shoes and regretted it?

Sorry you ruined the jeans, but it sounds like it wasn't all bad. And the second outfit looks even more fab than the first! The second one is superb in fit, the faux tuck, and I love the bookending of hair and jacket with the boots.

Haha, your inner guidance said, "make them gone!" Sooo, is THAT the problem with several pair of black jeans I own? I thought maybe the dye was an attractant but with both, it seems they wipe up ANY stray dust or fur.

Your second look is very nice! I am a shoe person, but I don't have any real duplications. I have two pair of boots that are quite alike, in terms of shaft height and heel height, but one is brown suede and the other black leather. Ohhh! Yes, actually, I DO have a duo of low heeled plain pumps. My daughter handed them up to me. I don't remember just why they weren't working for herr but I wear them a lot. I think it's hard enough to find shoes that meet multiple criteria, so if you like the booties, go ahead and buy a second pair.

Oh yes, i had some of those twill type jeans. Arggghhh i felt so sloppy b/c they are always full of little bits of dog hair! So be gone with no worries Love the look in 2. On to the boots ?, I have very particular feet and so if i find a shoe that is comfortable i want in another color (or even another pair of the same color!) I duplicate away with no worries.

I have Isabel Marant Dicker ankle boots in smooth black leather and suede taupe. Also have her wedge sneakers in gold and black. So yeah duplication works.

Well glad the jeans ruination was all for the best in the end!

I can't get over how different the 2 outfits look with just a swap in jeans colour. I love the second one a lot.

I'm probably going to duplicate a pair of flats in a different colour this year, when I save up enough money. But I've never done it before so who knows if I'll live to regret it!

Forget about those pants and onto your fabulous outfit in #2. You look stunning in that shade of cognac.

I think if you love the style and they are comfy, then duplicate away! You do look lovely in those warm caramel tones.

I like the lighter wash jeans better. A nice replacement! I own two pairs of tall boots in the same style, one in black and one in brown. I've also repeated flat shoes in the same style. I usually repeat a light and a dark color if I really adore a shoe. Why not? I find shoe so hard to fit, when I do find a pair at a fit and price I like, I'm all for duplicating them.
